Library fun in the runup to the holidays

For holiday fun, look no further than Superior Public Library. Kids of all ages can participate in our Elf on the Library Shelf contest.

Every day until Dec. 20, our Library Elf will be hiding in a different spot in the Youth Services area. Stop by the library throughout the month of December and find the elf. Submit your answer for a chance to win a prize basket.

The Northland Chapter of Grandmothers for Peace seeks donations of new and gently used children's and young adult books that promote social skills and honor diversity, as well as art supplies. Drop off donations in the Youth Services area through Dec. 19 and these items will be given to children and teens in our community.

The Downbeats have been performing throughout the area for more than 40 years, and they'll be bringing their holiday concert to the library at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11. This free concert will give you plenty of holiday cheer. Refreshments provided by the Friends of the Library.
