Randy S. Ellison

Randy S. Ellison, 53, of Maple, died after his 2-year battle with cancer, Thursday, November 29th at his residence, surrounded by his family.

He was born November 13, 1965 in Superior, son of Carl and Eunice (Anderson) Ellison.

On June 3, 1989 in Superior, Randy S. Ellison and Melinda M. Pattee were united in marriage.

Randy worked for over 29 years at Superior Glass as an auto glass manager.

Some of his interests included bow hunting, steelhead fishing on the Brule River, playing softball with the Central Assembly of God men's softball team, bowling, and cheering for all Wisconsin sports teams.

He was a member of Central Assembly of God and the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, AFL-CIO District Council 82/Local Union 106.

Preceding him in death were his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Survivors include his wife of over 29 years, Melinda; son, Trenton; parents, Carl and Eunice Ellison, Superior; brothers, Rod (Sara) Ellison, Coon Rapids, MN, and Ron (Amy) Ellison, Andover, MN; sisters, Denice Ellison, Superior, and Diane Roach, Superior; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and his Superior Glass family.

Visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. service, Wednesday, December 5th at Central Assembly of God, 3000 Hammond Avenue, Superior, with pastor Tom Miller officiating.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Superior.

Pallbearers will be Randy's Central Assembly of God softball teammates.

In lieu of flowers, should friends desire, memorials may be made to Central Assembly of God's What's Next Project Fund.

The family wishes to thank the Mayo Clinic - Rochester, Dr. Steven Kuross, Essentia Health Infusion Center nurses, and Essentia Health-St. Mary's Home Hospice.
